Please say which iPhone and iOS version you are on, and what you expected to happen. If it is about a specific place, name it.
On your device, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Sunstead. Cancelling there stops future renewals. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellation and refunds go through Apple rather than us.
The same way, and at least 24 hours before the trial ends — otherwise it converts to a paid weekly subscription.
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. That asks Apple for your purchase history and unlocks the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on.
Yes. Sunset time, the direction of the setting sun, golden and blue hour, and tonight's sky forecast are computed from wherever you are, anywhere on earth. Ranked spots and street-grid alignments are an extra layer that exists for cities we have mapped so far. If yours is missing, email us — we are adding more.
To work out when and where the sun sets for you specifically, since both change with every mile you move. It is computed on your phone. See the privacy policy for exactly what leaves your device and what does not.
Alerts are off until you switch them on, one at a time, in the Yours tab. If they are on there and you still see nothing, check Settings › Notifications › Sunstead on your device and make sure alerts are allowed.
This is the most useful email you can send us. Rankings are computed from map and terrain data rather than picked by hand, so a bad result usually means a signal we are not reading yet. Tell us the place and the city and we will look at it.
We hold nothing that identifies you. If you want the anonymous events from your installation removed, email us and we will delete them.
